The right center for the right care.

Our Story

Ready Set Grow Childcare was founded in 2020 by Louisville natives, Anisha and Herman Simpson. Just like many first time parents, there was a lot of hesitation about putting their oldest son into daycare. In fact, it was not until he was over a year old when they finally decided that it was time for him to be in an environment around other children his age. The search for a childcare center to meet both needs and expectations was rough. Although they were able to find a center they were happy to enroll him in, the realization was how much of a shortage there is in quality childcare. Between their personal experience along with the encouragement from dear friends who are also childcare owners, they decided to open their own facility.

Anisha and Herman now have two little ones of their own along with a host of nieces and nephews. Before running their own licensed facility, they did not have much experience outside of volunteering and mentorship. However, they have definitely always known quality care. Their goal is to provide the main qualities that they looked forts parents: structure, cleanliness, a nurturing environment, and an educational learning curriculum. The journey has definitely not been easy, but it has been the most rewarding feeling to know that they are making an impact on their students and families.
